Curriculum:

Similar to Lotus Daily, we employ Singapore Math as the primary textbook, Utilizing the flexible CPA teaching methodology, we translate complex mathematical concepts into relatable life experiences. Through highly visual, concrete, and dynamic elements, we aid students in comprehending abstract concepts beyond their current level.

Our “Intensive Practice” covers fundamental calculations, multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blanks, tables, and complex applications. Meanwhile, “Challenging Word Problems” foster students’ modeling thinking and encourages them to tackle problems within real-world contexts. Additionally, we integrate other competition math textbooks for its entertaining, stimulating, and competitive attributes, to guide students in exploring and uncovering mathematical principles starting from the core of each concept.

Reading comprehension serves as a foundational skill across all subjects. To address the issue of students struggling with comprehension, we’ve introduced basic vocabulary into our Intensive Course curriculum. Utilizing well known vocabulary books as our teaching material, we employ real-life sentences, simulated scenarios, categorization of synonyms and antonyms, and multiple connections between new words, enabling children to efficiently learn and accurately use vocabulary. Moreover, in response to the needs of advanced 2nd-grade students, we incorporate  widely-used classic textbook collaborating with students to expand their vocabulary from word lists to definitions, vocabulary analysis, contextual meanings, and reading comprehension with open-ended questions to enhance their expression and writing skills.

In our Science Classroom, we are offering a systematic approach to science education with engaging hands-on projects and captivating reading materials, immersing children in the wonders of the scientific world.

K-1: Our emphasis is on exploration, enjoyment, and practical application through games, homework, literature, English vocabulary, and math activities. Our objective is to foster a love for learning.

G 2: We concentrate on fundamental math concepts, offering rigorous challenges and problem-solving exercises, and emphasis on English vocabulary.

G 3 to 5: We introduce ‘Lotus Math,’ a blend of Singaporean-style intensive and challenging math with elements from the other competition math curriculum. We also incorporate engaging and unconventional math strategies to make learning enjoyable and memorable.

Afternoon fun activities emphasize the development of various skills: Sensory, Curiosity, Teamwork, Patience, and Self-improvement.

(A minimum of 10 students is required to proceed. In the event of cancellation, we will notify you two weeks before the scheduled start date.)
